What a great idea. How can you improve upon one of the classic scientific and travel memoirs that has influenced the trajectory of the life sciences and how the world understands science? Um, illustrate it with tons of historic prints from the original edition of Voyage, as well as historic photography from the mid-19th century, as well as modern photography. This book is beautifully illustrated.
