The book was written in the early 1900s and was an interesting read. Chief Kenlon's historical perspective was very interesting. Too think about all the research that he did back in time with no iternet and limited telephone service is amazing. His perspective on firefighting, strategy, crowds, etc was insightful. It was somewhat difficult to read because of the method and style in use at that time. But I found the book fascinating.
